Lakshyahira, and the king
She
had got lost on the jungle route while coming back to her home. The sepoys of
the king on the camp of mrigaya (pleasure hunting) caught hold of her and took her to the court of
the king. The lecherous king wanted to fulfill his carnal desire, but at the
same time feigning courteousness. “I am a prostitute and provide service of
carnal pleasure at a cost of one million diamond coins from my customers” –
mentioned the damsel, not forgetting to add that she takes a ritualistic bath
before courtship lest the male partner will die of poison from her kiss during
courtship, as she is a vishkanya (venomous virgin). The next practical condition is –
a million numbers of diamond coins are to be given to her before fulfilling the
wishful desire of the partner. The lustful king had to spare her for the time
being. He ordered to send her home safely.
Presence of mind. Is not it?
In digital terms – one million is a lakshya. The damsel priced her at “one million”, and
hence the name Lakhsyhahira (“hira” means diamond). The poor female could maintain
her chastity.
Lakhsyhahira and the “likes of the lecherous king” abound in today’s world. The modern-day kings want to rob the hidden treasures of talented people by hook or crook. One has to be Lakhsyhahira and get him saved from such lecherous business heads.
