SENSITIVITY TESTS FOR EXPLOSIVES FOR ROCK BLASTING
Results from the firing tests give the best and correct ways to take a conclusion. But the failure of the base product makes the entire exercise futile. In this particular case, we were testing to find out the "Booster Sensitivity" of a new formulation of SME (gassed) explosive. The D Cord itself got misfired. There were remnants of the explosive cartridge also. The results are shown in the photographs. The test was repeated.
