NATIONAL POLLUTION CONTROL DAY - DECEMBER 2

Image
THE PAINFUL REMEMBRANCE OF THE BLACK DAY - DECEMBER 2, 1984 - THE BHOPAL GAS TRAGEDY Two of the painful incidents that brought untold miseries to millions of living creatures by the whimsical and overconfident acts of some crazy humans are: (i) the leakage of the poisonous methyl isocyanate gas from the pesticide making company Union Carbide in Bhopal in 1984, and (ii) the leakage of the killer polystyrene gas from the LG Polymer company in Visakhapatnam.  Yesterday these were caused by poisonous gases leaked from industries and those gases killed and maimed millions of living creatures. Tomorrow it can be nitrous fumes from explosives used in mining activities.  In this context, our effort is to manufacture nitrate-free explosives for mining. Nitrate-free explosives will reduce air pollution arising from oxides of nitrogen. Today is the day to read the booklet - 33 PAGES ON GREEN & ECO-FRIENDLY EXPLOSIVES FOR ROCK BLASTING.
