My family joins me in wishing you and your family a happy SHREE GANESHA CHATURTHI. 

This day is auspicious because it is the birthday of SHREE VIGHNESWARA. He is also lovingly called as SHREE VINAYAKA and is described as the first deity who should be worshipped PRATHAMA VANDANA (प्रथम वन्दना). 

VIGHNESWARA is endowed with every conceivable form of wealth: riches, knowledge, health, bliss, beauty. VIGHNESWARA is the promoter of all these forms of wealth and removes all obstacles to their enjoyment. At this juncture, it is important to realize the meaning of verse 4:23 of SHREEMAD BHAGAVAD GITA

गतसङ्गस्यमुक्तस्यज्ञानावस्थितचेतस:|
यज्ञायाचरत: कर्म समग्रं प्रविलीयते |

While we should pray for attainment of wealth, prosperity, and worldly riches it should necessarily be realized that: "of one which is devoid of attachment, who is liberated, whose mind is established in Knowledge, who acts for the sake of sacrifice, all his actions are dissolved". We should act to get all things necessary, maybe in excess also, but we should not get shackled to the worldly riches and our mind should be liberated from attachments to these.

Every year, India celebrates September 5, the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, as National Teachers’ Day.   According to media reports, it is believed that while Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was serving as the second President of India in 1962, his students approached him to seek permission to celebrate his birthday – September 5 – as a special day. The Golden Hearts and the Rusted Gold Gold  is one of the least reactive elements.  Gold does not combine easily with oxygen so it remains shining. It neither does   rust  nor gets tarnished. Impurities, however, it can spoil the quality of gold. Humans are just like pure gold. We all have born with a pure heart. But as we grow chronologically, layers of impurities get settled over our pure hearts, and gradually these get spoiled. We do not take diligent care, the way we take care of our jewelry, to keep our hearts shining. We ignore the layers of dirt over it. A stage comes when the pure heart does not become visible and it is the dirt only that reflects from our personality. How can dirt reflect rays of shines? We should take care of our Golden Heart so that the Heart remains resplendent.
