THAT IS CHEMISTRY: II - ANFO, HANFO, WRANFO ANVO, and CANFO -

One of the widely used high-energy materials for rock blasting is ANFO. Its high gaseous energy and heat energy released upon detonation has made it one of the most preferred explosives by the blasting crews and mining industries. However, the rising costs of AN, and Diesel Oil are pinching the user mining industries to look for other explosives similar to ANFO. Thus some alternatives are either worked out or are in the process of working out. This video is on this subject. The derivatives of ANFO that have reached near success to cots and quality are HANFO, WRANFO, ANVO, and CANFO.
